About

Hi, I’m Jidechi

I am a senior software engineer with a mad obsession for distributed systems and high-frequency infrastructure. At the core of it all, I am fascinated by how we taught rocks to communicate in ones and zeros, and how those invisible bits power massive scale.

I focus on building resilient backend systems, real-time data pipelines, and clean architectures where predictability and stability are paramount.

My Engineering Philosophy

  • First Principles: I believe in learning language internals from scratch and deeply understanding the tools I use, preferring hands-on mastery over automated code generation.
  • Defensive Programming: I prioritize clean architecture and predictable data flows, writing code that anticipates failure and handles it gracefully.
  • Bare Metal to High Level: From configuring native Linux process management to training transformer models, I love operating across the entire stack.

Tools & Technologies

Languages & Frameworks

  • Backend: Go, Python, Javascript/Typescript, Rust
  • Frontend & Mobile: React, React Native, Flutter, Dart

Infrastructure, Data & Architecture

  • Databases & Messaging: MongoDB, RabbitMQ
  • Architecture Patterns: Change Data Capture (CDC), Outbox Pattern, Microservices
  • Process Management: Systemd, Linux internals, LLMOps, MLOps

Machine Learning & Research

  • Tools: vLLM
  • Focus: serving LLM (LLMOps)

🔭 What I’m Exploring Right Now

  • Building high-throughput, concurrent real-time data pipelines and market data simulators in Go.
  • Developing open-source tools for data synchronization between databases and message brokers.
  • Maintaining technical journals and architectural decision records to document the trade-offs in distributed systems.

⚡ Get in Touch

  • Always open to discussing infrastructure scaling, high-frequency environments, or the nuances of state management.
